What: Two suspected burglars in custody

Where: A construction site in Portland 

How: You would think that the Secure Pacific banners and proximity to our office would be the first clue that burglars should stay out, but that was not the case over the weekend. Mike, a Verification Center operator who has helped with more than 200 apprehensions since 2005, received alarm activations from the northwest main entrance and stairwell areas of a jobsite down the road from the Secure Pacific Portland office. Video of the incident showed two women carrying large bags through the site. Mike dispatched police and notified the site's emergency contact. Police arrived in five minutes and took the women into custody for suspected burglary.
