Erika, a new Operator in the Verification Center, landed her first apprehension last week when she received alarm signals from a vacant bar in Everett. Thanks to the full-color indoor motion viewers (see the still shots below), she could see a man inside the restaurant with a backpack and wearing blue pants and a blue shirt. She notified the emergency contact and Everett police. The officers responded and arrested the individual. This is not the first break-in at this bar — in fact, two intruders were arrested there in March. Bars, especially ones that are currently closed, face serious security risks. Video alarm systems for bars can be effective ways of capturing criminals in the act and preventing loss.
