Veterans Day is coming up, and as the largest privately owned security company in the Pacific Northwest, Secure Pacific is proud to be the employer of several veterans. Let’s take a few minutes this November 11th and celebrate our past and present military heroes. Wondering about the history behind Veterans’ Day? ‘Armistice’ Day was approved May 13, 1938 (52 Stat. 351; 5 U. S. Code, Sec. 87a), dedicated to the cause of world peace. It officially changed with legislation after WWII (Public Law 380) on June 1, 1954. November 11th became the day to honor American Veterans of all wars.
