The value of a local security company

AdpearanceSecurity Resources

At Secure Pacific, we are a business security company that provides office security. We are also a home security company that provides home security systems. Most importantly, we are a local security company that treats our customers with top notch loyalty and professionalism.

What is the value of supporting local businesses? There are many values. Think of these few examples as a map to the success of supporting your community:

1. Building a strong local economy

Independent local businesses employee a wide array of supporting services. They hire architects, designers, cabinet shops, sign makers and contractors for construction. Opportunities grow for local accountants, insurance brokers, computer consultants, attorneys, advertising agencies and others to help run it. Local retailers and distributors also carry a higher percentage of locally-made goods than the chains, creating more jobs for local producers.

2. Ensuring choice and diversity

Retailers sift through competing goods and services to find those that appeal to their customers. Even though a single local shop may have a smaller selection than a big chain outlet, a multiplicity of independent retailers creates great diversity.

3. Maintaining community character

When asked to name our favorite restaurant, cafe, or shop, we almost always cite a unique local business (look at the results in any "Best of" polls as proof). We embrace the idea of distinctive businesses with local character, but often forget their survival depends on our patronage. It is easy for us to get so consumed by efficiency that we forget how much of our lives we spend eating out, shopping, and doing other business. We owe it to ourselves to consider the quality of our experience, and ask if we benefit when we choose a community-based business.

4. Faster, more dependable service

When you are fighting to reach that person on the end of the line after waiting 15 minutes to ask a simple question….does it seem worth it? You fork over $50 – $100 a month for some services, and waiting for someone who is across the country to answer a question can be taxing. Doing business with local companies puts the customer in charge.

These are just a few examples of why Secure Pacific relates to its community. We believe in a strong, local economy that maintains character and provides better service than our competitors. Our loyalty to our customers showcases our prevalence and upper-hand in an industry of loss-leader driven businesses.
