Without a strong relationship with local police forces, our verified alarms would not be nearly as effective. We rely on police officers for quick responses to our alarms, and in turn we try to provide them with as much information as possible about the situations they are entering. Our process of video verification means that our Operators know more about the crime in progress than they would with a conventional alarm. Often, they can identify whether there are multiple suspects and even what they’re wearing, and they share what area of the facility the suspects are in. After arrests are made at facilities we protect, we like to recognize the officers involved and commend them for their bravery and professionalism. Following each arrest, we get the names of the officers involved in the incident and present them with certificates indicating the time and location of the arrest. We also write a letter to the chief of the department to express our appreciation. Being a police officer is hard work. As a company, it is important to us to show how grateful we are for officers who are willing to put themselves in harm’s way in order to prevent crime.
