Our apprehensions don’t usually end at gunpoint, but that was what happened last night in Redmond. One of our Operators dispatched Redmond PD after seeing an alarm on a motion viewer at a construction site. She identified a man on site wearing shorts and a baseball cap. After notifying the police, the Operator saw the suspect climbing up a crane, which is incredibly dangerous to both the suspect and the responding personnel. When she called to update them, the officers advised her that the suspect was taken into custody at gunpoint. We hope to have more details about the sequence of events that led to the tense nature of the arrest.
