Secure Pacific, a leader in electronic security solutions, is looking for highly skilled Low Voltage Technicians to join our team. Technicians will be installing, troubleshooting and servicing mostly commercial (and some residential) systems and delivering quality results for Secure Pacific clients. We protect our clients’ homes and businesses and assist police in catching bad guys. We provide exceptional training, resources and support our employees. Relevant experience a plus. 1. Develops a complete understanding of the proper techniques for installing and servicing Secure Pacific alarm systems and all Secure Pacific-approved equipment.
2. Completes installations, testing and troubleshooting of customer systems.
3. Completes all paperwork associated with the installation or testing of customer’s systems.
4. Ensures that vehicle stock is maintained and tools are used in accordance with company policy.
5. Works closely with Central Station Operators to program and test new and existing systems.
6. Participates in the on call rotation for after-hours service.
7. Maintains and operates assigned vehicles in accordance with company policy.
Candidates for this position must possess:
1. Requires a minimum of a high school education or equivalent. Some electronics schooling preferred.
2. Limited Energy Journeyman’s license or Restricted Energy license preferred. At a minimum, must be enrolled in the state’s apprenticeship program.
3. One year of alarm installation experience preferred.
4. Experience pulling wires for hard-wired electronic equipment preferred.
5. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
